During AXXOS’ User Days 2016, Gnotec Habo received the award for Best Productivity Improvement.
Gnotec Habo AB (Gnotec) received the award for its long-term and dedicated improvement work that resulted in major improvements in availability and productivity.
Gnotec mainly manufactures advanced metal components for automotive customers. Information generated from the production monitoring system AXXOS OEE is used on all levels within the organization. It is evident how the information is being used for decision-making within different internal processes.
The organization has shown great commitment to continuously develop their production monitoring and improvement work, ever since the introduction AXXOS OEE. Champions and role models like Magnus Stangdell, and others, have made Gnotec highly qualified users of AXXOS OEE. They have also contributed to the continuous improvement work of their production lines. Just in the last 18 months, the availability of the plant in Habo increased by 24%. Over a longer period, Gnotec increased its total productivity from 67% in 2011 to over 90% in 2016.
Furthermore, Gnotec in Habo has in an exemplary manner contributed to other companies’ production monitoring and improvement work by freely sharing their experience.
